Ethiopia - Hamasho G1
£12.50
Grown in the celebrated coffee lands of Sidama—widely regarded as the birthplace of coffee—this lot reflects the region’s rich heritage and exceptional growing conditions. Sourced from elevations between 2,260 and 2,360 meters above sea level, the high altitude contributes to its refined and complex character.
Named “Hamasho,” meaning “serpent” in the Sidama language, this coffee is the result of careful collaboration with local farmers who handpick ripe cherries at peak maturity. The harvest is then delivered to the Daye Bensa Hamasho wet mill, where it is meticulously processed to preserve its distinctive qualities and clarity in the cup.
