From the mountains of Chiang Rai, Thailand — Sirinya Coffee Farm, run by Supon. A roast that highlights the unique flavours of one of Thailand's finest specialty farms, with sustainability at its heart.
The Story
In the mountains of Chiang Rai, northern Thailand, Oil and Goh Chaosuwanwilai run Sirinya, a family coffee farm with close ties to the community around Doi Chang. Coffee is part of their family’s story, grown on land where earlier generations once cultivated opium.
Their work begins long before harvest. From caring for the soil to carefully sorting ripe cherries and experimenting with fermentation, Oil and Goh give attention to every stage. They also share their knowledge with neighbouring farmers, helping them improve quality and find better opportunities for their coffee.
As a Thai-owned roastery in the UK, this connection means a lot to us at Asylum Coffee. Through our farmer support project, we give back to the Sirinya community, with the aim of supporting the people behind the coffee and a more sustainable future for growers.
For us, bringing Sirinya to your cup is a way to share a little of home—and keep a connection between the people who grow the coffee and those who enjoy it.
